Our Story

Having enjoyed living in Andalucia for 6 years and being surrounded by a bounty of beautiful natural Spanish ingredients, my education and passion for Gourmet Extra Virgin Olive Oils developed and grew. I thought I knew about Olive Oils until I lived in Spain.

This passion has followed me home to Maynooth, County Kildare, Ireland with my superbly flavoursome Peridot Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils which are too good to be used for cooking and best enjoyed as a finishing oil.

The unique front label illustration of Peridot is of the Olive Tree I saw everyday, looking eastward, from the back of our house in Spain. It is one of my favourite visual memories from my time on the Iberian Peninsula.

Peridot Extra Virgin Olive Oils are only made from the sublime and 100% certified organic olives grown high on the Sierra Subbetica mountains in Andalucia. The olives are harvested early in the season and are then quickly and carefully pressed under controlled temperatures of less than 27ºC. Both of these factors are key to maximising all the natural flavour, taste and health benefits of the olives and resulting in the very low acidity levels in Peridot Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oils.
